Very excited to be sending out our first Bronze Coaches Course details for the year scheduled for the 6th & 7th of April held by our new Bronze Coaches Course facilitator and Vice President of Boxing NT, Donny Fuamatu. Both sessions will be 9am - 3pm, venue TBC. 

 

To become an accredited coach all participants must attend both full sessions. 

 

You must have/done the following certificates/checks prior to commencing the course. These items with supporting documentation will be sent to Boxing Australia prior to the course so please forward your certificates of completion of the following to secretaryboxingnt@gmail.com directly. If you do not have the following, you will not be able to participate or register to do the course and become accredited with Boxing Australia/Boxing NT.  

-First Aid Certificate 

-Working with Children Check 

-Essential Skills Course - Community Coaching Essential Skills | Australian Sports Commission (ausport.gov.au)

-Catalogue Entries (sportintegrity.gov.au) : Anti-doping & Child Safeguarding. 

-Read the Bronze coaches manual. 

 

The Fee for the Bronze Coaching Course will be $250.00. Boxing Australia also requires participants to register as a coach with their states (Boxing NT) prior to attending the course costing $120. (Link to register - Registration - Boxing NT) This course will keep you accredited for as long as you're in the sport with only needing to pay registration fee each year ($120) and a renewal fee every 4 years ($165).  This will be available to pay and register via the Boxing NT website for both course fees and registration. You will need to pay for the course prior to attending on the Boxing NT website.
